Unplug and recharge each month! Each monthly retreat will focus on a theme designed to help you deepen your mindfulness practice. Retreats will be three hours in length and will include silent sitting practice, guided meditation practice, mindful movement, and brief topic discussion. Mats, cushions, blankets, and floor chairs are available for use. You are welcome to bring your own mat and/or cushion if you have them. You may want to bring a journal for written reflection. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a light jacket if you tend to get cool.
June 15 Retreat: Approaching Chronic Pain with Mindfulness
Mindfulness is an evidence-based approach for reducing the suffering associated with chronic pain conditions. This three-hour retreat will introduce mindfulness exercises for approaching physical sensations, thoughts, and emotions with curiosity, compassion, and non-judgment.
