December Theme: Winter Solstice Silent Retreat
Find stillness amidst the busyness of the season at this 3-hour Silent Mindfulness Retreat. Practices will be guided, and will alternate between gentle movement and sitting. Enjoy practices such as mindful breathing, compassionate body awareness, mindfulness to the 5 senses, silent sitting practice, and periods of personal reflection. We will conclude with a beautiful crystal singing bowl sound bath.

Unplug and recharge each month! Each monthly retreat will focus on a theme designed to help you deepen your mindfulness practice. Retreats will be three hours in length and will include silent sitting practice, guided meditation practice, mindful movement, and brief topic discussion. Mats, cushions, blankets, and floor chairs are available for use. You are welcome to bring your own mat and/or cushion if you have them. You may want to bring a journal for written reflection. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a light jacket if you tend to get cool. Please be considerate of others who may have a sensitivity to strong scents (perfumes, essential oils, scented lotions) by avoiding strongly-scented products. Thank you.
